Meet the Coaches
Dr. Sean Delanghe
Head Coach, Chiropractor and Co-Founder
Sean is a chiropractor from Waterloo with a keen interest in athletic injuries and performance. He has a BSc. (Hons) in biology, chemistry and philosophy, and is a NCCP trained coach. He competed on the national AG duathlon team in 2012 and 2013, has competed at the provincial level in track, cross-country running, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and competed for the WLU varsity cross-country team during his undergraduate university years.

Assistant Coach and Co-Founder
Gillian is an avid runner, cyclist and duathlete from Waterloo. She competed in the national duathlon team in 2012 and 2013 and is an NCCP trained coach. She has worked in the industry for years and has extensive knowledge of athletic apparel, equipment and training. She attended the University of Waterloo and currently works in digital marketing. Gillian also manages all of H+P’s custom apparel.
Strength Coach & Physiotherapist
Kayla is a Physiotherapist, volleyball player and runner living and working Waterloo. She recently joined Coach Sean at Delanghe Chiropractic, working as a Physiotherapist to help create individualized evidence-based treatment programs to assist her patients in regaining and improving their everyday function. With her passion for strength training, physio background, and love/addiction to running, she combines her interests to find ways of effectively using strength training to improve performance on the road, track, and trail.
Emily graduated from Conestoga College from the dietetic technician program, and has worked in and coached aquatics her entire life. She has been teaching swimming and aquatic leadership for over a decade and is an avid runner and swimmer in her spare time.
Sam (aka Whiz Kid) is H+P’s data and analytics specialist. If there are numbers to crunch, he’s your man. He is the brains and brawn behind our H+P ranking website. He has a bachelor’s degree in math from the University of Waterloo and currently works in IT at Blackberry (when not working on the rankings page). He has been running since 2011 and joined H+P in 2014. He has since taken 1,2 9 and 20 minutes off his 5, 10, half and 30K PBs respectively. He is hunting for a sub-20 5K and sub 1:30 half marathon.
Assistant run coach
Greg is a runner and triathlete from Richmond Hill and currently living in Kitchener. He has a strong background in running as is a 4-time member of the WLU varsity cross-country team. He joined the H+P team in the Fall of 2012, and has since seen many of his PR’s drop dramatically. He is an avid skier, and often shows up for Monday practices with sore legs from weekend ski trips. Greg is responsible for leading a variety of running workouts with the club.
