With all the excitement surrounding ENDURrun, we missed a few solid races from our teammates along the way! So, it’s time to give them the recognition they deserve!
First off, a huge congrats to Eric Lucko on becoming the masters NATIONAL CHAMPION in the modern pentathlon. We only helped him with a few of the sports required for this competition…can you guess which ones? 😛
In the Triathlon world, we had two athlete competing at the Mount Tremblant IM:
Mark Cullen didn’t have the race he wanted, but still finished in a VERY solid 10:55- more to come from this guy for sure though!
Michele had an amazing performance- probably the best of her endurance sports career! She finished with a massive PB of 11:35, good for second in her very competitive AG. Congrats!
In the Orillia sprint duathlon, Jan bounced back from ENDURrun with an outstanding 3rd OA finish in 1:37. This was enough to win his AG and punch his ticket to the AG world championships next year!
Jess, our H+P Athlete of the Month in July posted an solid performance at the Steelhead 70.3. While it was not the race she wanted, she still finished strong in 5:01, 5th in her AG and the 29th female OA.
Angelika had a solid race at the Goderich sprint triathlon, finishing 7th OA for women and 5th in her AG!
Nicely done all…onto the next race!
