Other H+P Racing: July 17th-18th

The Waterloo 10K Classic isn’t all we were up to this weekend! Here are some other results from races across Southern Ontario:

ERIK

Guelph Lake 1:

Olympic Triathlon

Matt Harrop had an amazing return to action after his serious fall form last year.  He posted a 2:18, good for 11th OA and 3rd in his AG with the help of a strong 35.5K/average on the bike.

Adam Dixon wasn’t far behind, posting a 2:19 finish time, placing 16th OA and also 3rd in his AG.

Erik Vicujnik had a solid return to the triathlon world, finishing in 2:47. adam d

Olympic Du

Peter Haller had an amazing debut, winning the event OA with a time of 1:53, and posting the FASTEST run split of the day (in both the duathlon and triathlon combined).

Nate Van Heyst also had a strong performance.  New to the sport, he posted a 2:24, good for 3rd in his AG.

Sprint Du

Steve Schmidt had a solid performance, coming in 6th OA and 2nd in his AG.

Sprint Tri

Jody Rice came in with a strong 1:20 finish, good for 5th in his AG.

Waterfront 10K

The 10K Classic was not the only 10K tackled this weekend!  We also had a solid crew head to Toronto to hammer the Waterfront 10K.  CLICK HERE to see how they did.

Luke had an awesome race, coming in 5th OA and 2nd in his AG!

Nigara Ultra

Dave came in first for the team with an outstanding performance given the heat, finishing in 4:02, good for 6th OA and 1st in his AG (obviously :P)

Vicki Z battled hard through the heat to still finish with a respectable 4:53, good enough for 2nd in her AG!

Charlotte V had a solid as well, coming in 3 minutes behind Vicki with a time of 4:56!

Andrew H came in with a time of 6:19, once again on basically no training!

Marathon

Cathy Derksen had an awesome return to the marathon world as she builds toward the ENDURrun ultimate.  After a 13+ year hiatus form the distance, she got through with an outstanding 4:06 finish time, good for 4th OA.

Half Marathon

Heather Heij ran a solid race, placing 22nd in her AG!
