-Jon Fugelsang also crushed the race, running a massive 16:55 PB achieving a NEW club record and hitting the masters men’s 5K A standard (sub 17:00).

-Robyn Collins also posted a massive achievement, PBing with an 18:49 which is good for another NEW club record and a masters women’s 5K A standard!

TEAMS- 5K:

FULL RESULTS

H+P had a crazy 8 total teams in this race!  This was probably our most exciting team competition ever, with us holding 5 of the top 6 positions!

The H+P men’s team came in 2nd OA and 1st for our team with a very solid 16:12 average pace (Jon, Sean, Brendan, Jordan, Nick)

An amazing performance was shown by the H+P Up & Comers (Aidan, Graham, Jon F, Dem, Pat)!  These boys posted an unbelievable average time of 17:03!  The future is bright for H+P!

H+P #Sub19 (James, Eric, Chris, Erik, Adam) was in next…and not only did this team break 19…they broke 18 with an average time if 17:58!  How is this even possible for a THIRD team?  Nicely done boys.

The women’s team absolutely destroyed this race.  With 3 in the top 5 OA, and an average time of 18:59 DESPITE missing a few of our top ranked women athletes, it’s safe to say this was a successful 5K for this squad (Gill, Jessica, Robyn, Vicki, Emily).

The H+P masters men were without some of their biggest stars…but that didn’t matter!  These guys still managed to crush the course and post an average time of 20:00!  Well done team (Brian, Jan, Holger, Jody, Sam)!

Our most homogeneous (jk heterogeneous, thanks Terry!) team ALSO knocked this one out of the park.  This team posted a strong 22:02 average time (Jessica, Jonah, Terry, Erin, John).  YES, that’s right, Jessica and Jonah, the two younger kids in the group, ran 20:57 and 21:02 respectively.  WOW!

Finally, huge props to our Bringers of Pain squad (Mike, Sam, Will, Janice, Caity) for coming in with a PB-littered 26:16 average time.  If you’re pushing your limits (and truly pushing your limits), you represent exactly what H+P is all about.  I think it’s safe to say that BOP did just that!

Parent/Child:

FULL RESULTS

H+P had an interesting combination of teams competing in the parent child category this year, with 4 teams placing in the top 5!  Added to the intrigue was the combined age of these dynamic duos ranging from low-40 years up to just under 100 years!

Quick Silver (James and Chris) came in 2nd OA and 1st for the team with an average time of 19:53!

Deux Delanghes (Coach Sean and his mom) were in 2nd for the team with a 21:23 average time!

Schmidt Mom & Son (Jonah and Erin) were a mere 12s behind the Deux Delanghes with an average time of 21:35- what a battle!

Schmidt Dad & Daughter (Jessica and Jon) were in 5th OA and 4th for the team with an outstanding average time of 22:48!

Finally, a huge props to Speedy Swans (Sandi, Jaykob) for finishing strong to come in next for the team with a 34:20 finish time!
