Another weekend, another great set of races for H+P-ers! Here’s how we did:
Greg Cartmell overcame injury, battled wind, and still posted a very strong H+P men’s C standard coming in with a final time of 2:50:57! This was good for 10th OA and 3rd in his AG!
Trevor Boss was in next with an outstanding marathon debut, running 3:30! Brian battled through his plantar fasciitis to still come in with a strong 3:42.
Melanie came in with a very solid 4:00:39.
As part of his build to IM, Gabriel ran a solid marathon debut of 4:24.
Coach Sean broke his own rules and ran the half in close proximity to Boston..do as he says, not as he does!
Coach Gill used the half as a workout/hard tempo, still coming in 2nd in her AG in 1:29.
Jan came in with a massive career best performance of 1:32, placing 2nd in his AG.
Nathan made a strong H+P debut, hitting is sub-2:00 goal, running 1:56!
Bendan Hancock had a great race, running 16:33 to finish 2nd OA.
Christine came in with an outstanding new personal best, finishing in 45:59.
Nicole ran a solid 1:11:50 – a great finish to her 3rd race in 3 weeks!
Lisa came in with an outstanding performance, crushing the race in 3:19 and hitting our H+P masters women’s B Standard! This also brought her in 3rd OA and 1st in her AG! WOW!
Jessica ran a great new half PB of 1:25:50, hitting the H+P women’s B standard and bringing her in 5th OA!
Kim Chan crushed the half, posting a career best performance of 1:42:50!
Ed managed to avoid eating too much chocolate, running a new PB of 1:54!
Candice, coming from injury, walk/jogged the 10K in 56 mins and enjoyed the chocolate en route!
Steve Schmidt came in with a solid 20:23, winning his AG!
Emily ran just over 21mins, placing 1st OA for women!
Heather Dixon ran a very solid 21:40 PB, winning her AG!
Craig had a great H+P debut, running a strong 23:18 and placing 2nd in his AG.
Heidi ran a solid 27:34, placing 3rd in he AG.
Mike Garvin ran a strong 30 minute H+P debut!
Kristin Marks ran a very solid 22:44, winning her AG!
