With ENDURrun in the review mirror, our forces once again have been spread all over the place! Here are some of our team results from late August races.
IMMT- Full Results
Andrea Sweny posted an epic 10:25 performance including a strong 3:30 marathon to bring her home 11th OA for women! She also handily won her AG in this very competitive race.
Aaron Grant came in with a strong 11:09 finish including a very solid 5:34 bike split, bringing him in 36th in his AG.
Mamiko came in with a strong 12:31 performance, placing 11th in her AG!
Wasaga
In the Olympic Triathlon (full results), IronLuke posted an epic 3rd OA including an over 40K/h bike split.
In the Sprint Duathlon (full results) Jan had a strong 6th OA finish, winning his AG with one of his fastest 5K times in years (duathlon or not!)
In the Give-It-A-Tri (full results) we had 3 athletes complete their first tris ever! Kristin Marks placed first in her AG with a finish time of 47, Kayla was just 1 minute behind her with a 48 minute finish and 2nd AG finish. Candice had a strong 52 minute finish with was good for 7th in her AG.
Kitchener Kids with Cancer
In the 5K (full results), Sandi ran a great 31minute 5K, good for 8th in her AGm, while Jaimie ran a solid 35min PB. In the 10K (full results), Jon was in first for the team with a 54 minute finish good for 3rd in his AG. Heidi placed 4th in her AG with a 63 minute finish. Shalon 1:11 and Melissa ran 1:22, both finishing in the top 10 in their categories.
Runway 2M
Our team had a great time at the Runway 2M race! Jordan placed 3rd and won his AG, while Cari and Terry both placed 2nd in their AGs! Full results.
Sam and Weston had a great time in the fun run too!
Bruce Trail
Congrats to Charlotte who proved once again her energy and ambition know no bounds. This time she completed the Bruce Trail, end-to-end, completely self support. It took her 16 days, 21 hours and 27 minutes!
