PRIZING

Your Mauren Prize Pack winners from Runners’ Choice Waterloo are Lydia, Ori and Steve/Brad.

Your winner of the $50 gift card to RC Waterloo is Bradly O’Neil- congrats!

On to the next event..

H+P SPRING 5K

This 5K was the opposite of the Loopy Challenge- short, sweet and intense! The goal was to set up a fairly fast course, but unfortunately we had to change it last minute due to construction.  Our athletes didn’t complain (?) and still made the most of it though!

Michael Stewart was your top finisher, while Kylie Sullivan was your top woman overall!

You can check out our full results HERE.

A huge thanks to Runners’ Choice Waterloo for the prizing + all of you who donated to H+P on 2025 to make these draw prizes possible!

COMEBACK 8K

The Comeback 8K was designed for athletes not able to chase a personal best to set a tough but achievable goal—and see if they could reach it.

All who did hit their goal gets $25 off a purchase at Runners’ Choice Waterloo as long as they spend $100.  In the end, it looks like these athletes were setting tough goals- only 5 athletes managed to hit their targets:

H+P DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK 8K AWARD WINNERS

And it wasn’t the purpose of the event, but we included all the 8K results on HPWR incase you wanted them HERE– Jon Redfearn was our OA winner with Karolyn posting our fastest women’s time!

THANK YOU

A huge thanks to all our volunteers and sponsors – an event like this doesn’t happen for free (or at all) without these awesome people!

That’s it for now- thank you all for coming out and helping to make this event awesome.  Onwards to the next one..the BANDIT 5K..
