Welcome back to Zwifting with H+P! Here’s a quick intro from coach Sayaka!
I am coming out of my postpartum zombie state to officially invite you to our Zwift workout group for the winter session!
Every year we have some new faces, so I am getting this out there so you have lots of time to get your gear and set up figured out before we begin.
WHEN?
Workouts start first week of November.
Tuesday Morning ride with Michelle Lennonx (6AM)
Thursday evening ride with me (Sayaka) (6PM).
HOW?
To join, you must give us a follow on Zwift. You can find us using our handles: Michelle Lennox [BIC]H+P, Sayaka Tiessen [H+P]. It helps us if you also add H+P into your handle so we know who you are. If you already follow us, you are good to go!
As veteran Zwift H+Pers know, the first few rides take some practice, but then once you get it, it is pretty straightforward..
The format has always been through a Meetup – we invite you, you accept the Meetup (if you want, no pressure). You don’t HAVE to do the workout because we will have the “Keep Everyone Together” feature turned on, meaning you can easy pedal and keep up with some of the stallions of the group. You can also join up to 30′ late.
Workouts will be posted here to be uploaded to Zwift. If you have never uploaded a custom workout before, you have to download it from here first, then move the file to your personal Zwift folder. https://zwiftinsider.com/load-custom-workouts/
When you open Zwift, it should be in your Custom Workout folder under the Workout tab. (I will upload a demo workout for those that have never done it before).
I will post on another day on how to bring up said custom workout while in a Meetup. But for now, give us a follow, make sure your gear is in working order, and make sure you understand how to upload a custom workout.
