5x100m strides
3′ tempo @ HMP
3′ easy
3×6′ @ 5-10K effort, 3′ easy
** Marathoners, do 5-6 reps, slow it down to 10K-HMP
5′ easy
2-3×1′ very hard, 1′ easy 10-15′ CD
10-15′ CD
TRACK VERSION
15-20 jog
2 laps of jog the corners, stride the straights
800m tempo @ HMP – wake up those legs!
400m easy
3-4x1200m @ 5-10K effort, 400m easy
** Marathoners- do 5-6 reps, slow it down to 10K-HMPish.
2-3x 200m @ fast effort without getting sloppy, jog the diagonal for recovery
CD 10-20′ easy
