H+P FULL VOLUME WORKOUT  (Summer Block 3- Week 2 of 5)

Let’s smash another hard one!  Remember to modify your pace goals if the heat is bad!

10-15′ WU
5x100m strides
10′ tempo @ HMP
3′ easy
4×2.5′ with 2′ @ 5K effort, final 30s accelerations, 1′ easy in between each rep

Marathoners: 10-15′ tempo @ HMP-MP top up

10-15′ CD

 

 

TRACK VERSION

15-20 jog

2 laps of jog the corners, stride the straights

2K tempo @ HMP

400m easy

4x600m @ 5-10K effort (accelerate in the final 200m), 200m easy walk/jog recovery

800m easy

MARATHONERS: 3K tempo top up @ HMP-MP

CD top up to 20-22K on the day
