Training:
Less than a month until the 3K Blastoff so workouts are going to continue to be tough! The HM-M workout volume will continue to be high. KEY: If you are doing these workouts, make sure to stick to goal paces. With the volume being so high, you most definitely will suffer short term (and possibly long term) if you go too hard!
H+P FULL VOLUME WORKOUT (5-10K option)
15-25 minutes WU jog
5x100m strides
3-5 minutes easy
2-2-3-7-3-2-2
- 2 minutes recovery in between each
- 2 + 3 @ 5K effort
- 7 @ 10K-HM effort
- Option to cut out the final 2×2′
15 minutes easy CD
H+P FULL VOLUME WORKOUT (HM-M option)
15-25 minutes WU jog
5x100m strides
30 minutes as follows:
15 minutes @ marathon effort
10 minutes @ HM effort
5 minutes @ CHOICE: HM or M effort
5 minutes jog
OPTION: top up with 2-3×2 minutes @ 5-10K effort, 90s easy
10-20 minutes CD jog
