H+P VIRTUAL WEEK – June 10, 2024

Training:

Welcome to our buffer weeks!  We’re getting closer to the point of diving into our massive fall build..this workout with the range at the end of slightly inline with what you can expect in the coming weeks.  Let’s go!

BUFFER WEEK 7- this is our last one, then we get “real”

  • 15’ WU jog 
  • 5x100m strides 
  • 10’ @ HMP
  • 4’ easy
  • 3,2,1,3,2,1’ @ 5K effort (faster for the 1’) with 60s easy in between each 
  • 10-15’ CD

TRACK OPTION:

  • Do it as:
  • 2 laps of jog corners, stride straights
  • 2-3K tempo @ HMP
  • 800m easy
  • 800-600-400-800-600-400 with 200-400m easy (your choice)
    • 800 and 600@ 5K pace (should be hardish)
    • 400 @ significantly faster than 5K pace – should be very hard
