Workouts for the week:

H+P FULL VOLUME WORKOUT  (5-10K option) (2nd last Block- Week 1 of 4)

15-25 minutes WU jog

5x100m strides, jog back to start

5′ jog

2-3 sets of:

5′ @ 10K effort, 2′ easy

2×1′ @ 5K effort, 1′ easy

3-5′ easy between sets

15 minutes easy CD



H+P FULL VOLUME WORKOUT (HM option) (2nd last Block- Week 1 of 4)

15-25 minutes WU jog

5x100m strides

5′ easy

3-4×8′ tempo @ Hm effort, 3′ jog recovery

10-20 minutes CD jog

H+P FULL VOLUME WORKOUT (M option) (2nd last Block- Week 1 of 4)

15-25 minutes WU jog

  • the time to start dealing in a little more leg speed is here.  Make sure you’re still getting those tempos in your LRs!

5′ easy

15-20′ tempo @ MP

5′ easy

2-4×5′ @ 10K effort, 2′ easy

10-20 minutes CD jog
