It’s time for the Arctic mile! Do the taper workout if you plan to do the mile this week- try to separate it by at least 2-3 days from your attempt! There’s a full volume option there as well for people who want to start building fitness.
H+P KEY WORKOUT- Taper Option
- Do this one at least 3 days before your attempt!
15-25 minutes WU jog
5x100m strides
5 minutes easy
5 minutes tempo @ 10K- HM effort
3 minutes easy
3×1 minute max effort, 90s easy
10-20 minutes CD jog
H+P FULL VOLUME WORKOUT
- Don’t do this if you’re hitting the mile max effort this week!
15-25 minutes WU jog
5x100m strides
5 minutes easy
4×5 minutes steady @ 10K-half effort, 2 minutes easy
10-20 minutes CD jog
