Running Workouts for the week:

H+P FULL VOLUME WORKOUT  (Block 4 week 1 of 5)

We’re into our final block leading into the Missy full and half- only 5 weeks away!  The plan is simple: 3 massive weeks, 1 kinda massive week, and 1 full taper week.  Onto the first hard week!

  • 5K- HM Athletes
10-15′ WU
5x100m strides
5′ easy
2 sets of:
4×3′ all with 90s easy
– first 2 reps @ 10K-ish pace
– second 2 reps @ 5K pace
10-15′ CD
Modification for Marathoners:
Complete the above, but do all the 3′ reps @ 10K effort.
Then, either start, or top up your working with 10′ tempo @ HMP.

March 31 –THRESHOLD

WARM UP

3’ @ 80%

1’ @ 105%

2’ easy

MAIN SET

3 rounds:
